[...] Here’s a shoutout to James Pearce and Andrea Trasatti for (a) making a fantastic mobile plugin for Wordpress (and another for Drupal) and for getting said Wordpress mobile plugin returned to the download section of Wordpress.org. Let’s give James his due (and traffic) and let him tell you about it in his own words on Tripleodeon.com. [...]

I'm glad you were able to track down the problem, and I'm sorry we weren't able to resolve it faster.

As I mentioned in our email conversation, the Plugins Directory will be seeing some significant improvements shortly, and we're grateful for your feedback on how those improvements should work.

We're very happy you're contributing to the greater WordPress community, and I'm glad you're (finally) back to business as usual so that you can keep contributing :) If you have further problems (I hope not) or further suggestions/critiques (I hope so), please let me know.

PS: I've at least updated the GPL compatible link (the URL changed on their end at some point), if not the language of the page. I'll check with those who know better about the finer points of us requiring plugins to be GPL2 v. 3 compatible.

PPS: Not sure if it helps, but you can always dual license your plugins as GPL2 and 3, or GPL2 and Apache2 or whatever suits your needs (supposing your needs can be suited with multi licensing).
